Our carefully selected herd of registered Scottish Highland cattle represents some of the finest genetics in the Southeast. Each animal is chosen for conformation, temperament, and maternal ability. From our proven herd sires to our foundation cows, every animal contributes to maintaining the quality and integrity of the breed.
Herd Sire
Highland Thunder exemplifies the breed standard with exceptional conformation, a deep red coat, and impressive horns. His bloodline brings proven genetics from champion Scottish lines. He produces calves with excellent structure, vigorous growth, and gentle temperaments. Thunder's offspring consistently show strong maternal traits and superior hardiness.
Herd Sire
Celtic Storm is a proven herd sire with an impressive track record. His black coat and strong build reflect generations of careful breeding. Storm's calves are known for their robust health, excellent growth rates, and easy temperaments. He consistently produces offspring with superior conformation and the distinctive Highland character that makes the breed so valued.
Bonnie Belle is one of our cornerstone foundation cows. Her consistent calving history and excellent maternal instincts make her invaluable to our breeding program. She produces vigorous, healthy calves and is an attentive mother. Her calm temperament and proven genetics make her offspring highly sought after. Currently bred and due to calve in spring 2026.
Highland Rose brings exceptional bloodlines and a gentle disposition to our herd. She has produced two outstanding calves with excellent conformation and vigorous health. Her dun coloring is a sought-after trait in the breed. Rose is easy to handle, making her ideal for hands-on farm operations. Her maternal abilities and calm nature make her an essential part of our foundation herd.
Scottish Mist represents the next generation of our breeding program. Her exceptional conformation and rare yellow coloring make her a standout addition to our foundation herd. She's bred for her first calf, expected in fall 2026. Mist has the calm temperament and strong build that define our breeding goals. We're excited to see her maternal qualities develop with her first calf.
Thistle is a promising young heifer with excellent genetics from both sides of her pedigree. She shows strong growth and the friendly temperament that makes Highlands such a pleasure to work with. As she matures, she'll join our breeding program or may be available for sale to the right buyer looking to add quality genetics to their herd.
We have calves born throughout the year from our foundation cows and proven herd sires. Young stock from our breeding program may become available for purchase at the right age.
